This website was designed to disseminate best practice in the area of crime scripting and analysis. It is maintained by a research team led by Prof. Hervé Borrion (UCL Department of Security and Crime Science).

Prof. Hervé Borrion has conducted research and consultancy projects for a wide range of government departments and agencies (Home Office, Department for Environment, Food & Rural Affairs, Environmental Agency, Office for Environmental Protection, Natural England, Historic England, etc.).
His contribution to the field of crime scripting and analysis includes:
- a systematic review of crime scripting methods (Dehghanniri & Borrion, 2021)
- a crime scripting and analysis process (Borrion & Dehghanniri, 2023)
- a method for combining scripts from multiple analysts together (Borrion et al.. 2017)
- a method for combining scripts from events together (Bish et al., 2025)
- the demonstration that the quality of crime scripts depends on the analysts who write them (Borrion et al.. 2017)
- a list of criteria for assessing the quality of crime scripts (Borrion, 2013)
